    1. Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Marianne Williamson, Jenny McCarthy and her "vaccines cause autism" swill, The Secret … Oprah has foisted a ton of fraudulent, scammy, money grubbing woo woo dreck on the public. I am quite happy that Oprah has shown no interest in politics, and hope it stays that way.

  1. Undecided?   Here’s why: . . .

Why Don’t We Know Which Democratic Candidate Can Beat Trump?

•A stable race is suddenly not.

•The “electability” candidate is bad at running for president.

•The “least-electable” candidate has the best chance of winning the nomination.

•Can a woman beat Mr. Trump?

•Mike Bloomberg’s money can buy a lot, but probably not the nomination.

•Black voters are the backbone of the Democratic Party, but …

    •There are other mysteries.

•One thing we do know for sure.

•No one can tell us who can beat Mr. Trump, because no one knows.

. . . IMHO, I personally think haruspicy gets summarily short-shrifted far too often these days? …

  2. Interesting quote over the weekend: a reporter asked Mike Bloomberg how it would feel for two billionaires to run against each other in November.

Mike's reply: "who's the other one?"

      1. It’s the 21st century . . .

Why ya’ think the gods invented MRIs?  (hint:  so we could know their wills . . . Duh.)

Progress through science, and other stuff . . .

(The vegans don’t need no convincing, anyway — they’re all already in the bag for Bernie . . . just another religion by any other name.)

        Sheesh!

  3. I really miss having a President . . .

. . . I mean, I know we got Mr. Putin, and all.

    It’s just not the same . . .

. . . I’m kind of an old sentimentalist when it came to having an American President, perhaps even one elected by a majority — hell, even a plurality — of the American voters. Too much to ask, I spose’?

It’s good to have a day of remembrance.

    Shouldn’t the flags be at half-mast? . . .
