Daily Kos blog has comments comparing the artistry of the attacks on Bloomberg — and his wooden responses. So far, there is more admiration for Warren than for the effective work of others.

Warren is one hell of a feisty individual. Not the kind of one you'd want to piss off either. Love that about her.
It was Bloomberg’s first night in the made for TV food fight so no surprises that the choreographed fight scenes went as scripted. Trump couldn’t have come up with a better way to undermine his opponents.
But were the ratings good?
GG is right. According to an analyst on Channel 9/Denver, the big winner of last night's Dem debate was Donald Trump.

I heard a pundit say the total viewership wound up at about 20 million. What I wish, is for EVERYONE to chill on the portrayal of democracy in action as chaotic…or “a nightmare”…or a crisis.
The alternative is…we anoint our own king and let them battle it out.

This is democracy at work. I love it. The coalition building around a future for all of us…not just the Sheldon Adelsons of the world. By the time this process is finished, we will have learned a great deal. What we need to re-learn is the fundamental human fairness of FDRs’ New Deal.
This is not politics as usual. This is naked fascism in all its ugly ways. It was easy to see from the start that a sick man like the OD, having tasted power of which he never dreamed, would never willingly give it up.
Now you have a rapidly rebuilding team of criminal supporters of this regime. They will stop at nothing. The president has announced he is going to stop sharing his calls with world leaders. Have we ever known the details of his calls with Putin?
Vote Blue…dammit.

I thought Warren’s closing was God awful stupid. “I’m a fighter. I like to fight. Fight fight fight. You wanna fight? Let’s fight. Did I mention I’m a fighter. I am going to run the federal government like a fight club. Fighting is all I know. I’m a fighter.”
Went a little overboard there, for sure.
On the other hand…
She is under a lot of pressure to convince voters she can stand up to the OD like the boys can.
Her closing may have left something to be desired but opening remarks were fabulous!
