Re: the above. The rumor was that Dylan was backstage, but it was already so long over the time allotment, that they didn’t let him do a set, so Neil did the cover.Also from the Graham Tribute.
A few other folks played with the Dead, and Journey (who I don’t care for) had a ‘reunion’ show (opened with the city by the Bay song). All that along with Tracy Chapman and a bunch of others, playing to about 400,000 people in a free show at the GG Polo Field. Good times.
