  1. …after all, he completely flubbed it at the CPAC conference in 2009:

“We believe that the preamble to the Constitution contains an inarguable truth that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life. Liberty, Freedom. And the pursuit of happiness.”

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/

Which for those of us who did pay attention in Civic class, is contained in the Declaration of Independence, and NOT the Constitution.

    1. I think if there’s one thing I’ve seen the tea partiers get right, it’s making the Republicans do this. I think they should pass a rule saying that they have to do this every single year no matter which party is in the majority. Only with no redactions or screw-ups next time.

      1. For those who don’t click “play,” Lamborn quoth thus, from the start to Article VII:

“The Ratification of the Conventions on nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.”

  2. Is Rush implying that waterboarding is some sort of torture? I thought that Cheney convinced us all that it was merely an aggressive interrogation technique. If Rush think waterboarding is somehow a bad thing, then he’d support an investigation, right?

  3. people in the Press (at least the ones doing their job) are going to call you on it when you try and weasel out of it…

Or did the geniuses behind the Republican’t party get to DC at their swearing-in and realize “oh gosh! The fiscal year is already almost half over! How did this critical fact escape our minds!”
