Hard to imagine…
I know with whom sxp was upset and why, and I did see a couple of remarks that could be construed as flaming, but dang, it wasn’t much. Makes me think that something big must have erupted when I wasn’t paying attention (and I’ve actually checked in a lot today, and recently, compared to just looking in once or twice a day…)
is that Pols always seems more interested in retribution than rehabilitation. They have far and away the highest recidivism rate of any blog in Colorado.
Two days from now SXP will be out on the streets — tossed back into society with no additional coping skills. What then? Just look at what happened to poor Libertad.
You can’t just lock up your problems, and forget about them, and hope they go away Alva. What are we, barbarians? This is the twenty-first century for God’s sake . . . so sad. Only three hours after RSB was forced out — what the hell is happening to my beloved blog?

We don’t have anywhere to send our rule breakers for torture. The Penalty Box is all we’ve got.
sxp’s posting over there though. I’d say he/she is resigned to his/her 48 hours in the pokey.
I hope sxp’s not the last, Guvs. You guys need to use the PB much more than you do.
Libertad’s time in the pokey wasn’t any fun at all.
Dang it, I’m going to have to start paying more attention to Pols.
And, like everyone else, I can’t help but wonder what I missed.
All the posts I wrote are still on the blog in fairly public places (the Monday Open Thread was the last one).
How are we, as a community, supposed to learn from Sexpee’s mistakes if we can’t see what he/she said to be sent to the Penalty Box?
Okay, that, and a sort of gawker’s curiosity.
And just devolved into name-calling, mostly on sxp’s part. He/she gets out of the clink today at some point.
