At Least He is not your Legislator - No wait, he is. Senator Morse!!

Senator Morse request 331 days of per diem in 2009.  More than anyone else.

Sort of a yikes moment especially when you think about how everyone jumped on other legislators in Colorado for the same issue.

    1. for any of it.

      Odd.

Did you notice that you were the first comment? No one defended Morse. Taking advantage: It always sucks. What’s with the attitude?

  1. Legislators are paid a pitance and that per diem is to cover the expense of having to effectively live in denver (not cheap) while doing the work of the people.

Only legislators who live outside of the denver-metro area can get the per diem. It reimburses them for travel and lodging at a very reasonable rate.

Criticising them for not sacrificing something they deserve is stupid no matter which party they’re in.

    1. Suggesting Morse worked 331 days for leadership is as ludicrous as it was for Stengel. I don’t believe either one of them.

Romanoff, for instance, only claimed leadership pay when he was actually at the office. More difficult if you don’t live in Denver, but the idea transfers.
