It’s time for our annual Colorado Pols “office pool” contest. The winner gets the use of a small button ad for one full week in August – a prize so valuable it is outright invaluable.
All entries must be received by 7:00 p.m. to qualify. Click below to enter…
We’re going to do the Colorado Pols office pool a little differently this time around. To enter, you need to pick the winners of 12 different primary races in the order that you are the most comfortable with. The first slot is for your “lock” of the night, and then you do the rest in descending order. If you get the first one correct, you get 12 points; if you get the second correct, you get 11 points; etc. The race you feel the least comfortable choosing should be #1, because you only lose one point if you get it wrong.
Here are the 12 races to rank and choose the winners from:
1. CD-7 (Ed Perlmutter, Peggy Lamm, Herb Rubenstein)
2. CD-5 (Rivera, Lamborn, Crank, Bremer, Anderson, Rayburn)
3. SD-7 (Josh Penry and Matt Smith)
4. SD-32 (Chris Romer, Jennifer Mello, Fran Coleman)
5. HD-13 (Claire Levy, Jim Rettew)
6. SD-22 (Kiki Traylor, Mike Kopp, Justin Everett)
7. HD-23 (Pat Holloway, Ramey Johnson)
8. HD-14 (Kent Lambert, Collin Mullaney)
9. HD-51 Democrat (Becky Jay, Jodi Radke)
10. HD-51 Republican (Kevan McNaught, Don Marostica)
11. SD-13 (Scott Renfroe, Dale Hall)
12. SD-24 (Val Vigil, Lois Tochtrop)
And don’t forget the tiebreaker: How many total votes will the winner in CD-5 receive?
A sample ballot would look like this:
12. Lamm (CD-7)
11. Rivera (CD-5)
10. Penry (SD-7)
9. etc…

CD winner will get 32%.
I’m predicting Ned Lamont over Joe Lieberman by 8 pts. (%54 to 46%). Any other Ct. predictions should be posted by 6 p.m. (MDT) since polls close in Ct. at 8 p.m. (EDT).
….Joe wins the General hands down. 1/2 of the Dems and all the R’s make him the winner in November
and Lieberman does not run in November…
