CNN celebrates Mitt Romney’s “practically 50%” 47% Florida primary victory:
A Florida campaign of vicious personal attacks between Romney and his closest competitor, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, raised questions about whether the process would damage the eventual winner when it comes time to run against President Barack Obama in November…
Be that as it may,
[Romney’s] solid victory blunted any momentum Gingrich gained from his January 21 victory in South Carolina.
The bulk of the Republican establishment in Colorado hopes so, and hopes the fruitless bleeding of Romney in this bitter primary season ends as soon as possible–before next Tuesday even.
Then again, they were not the ones at the Ron Paul and Rick Santorum rallies today.

Was there any doubt that Ronmey would roll in FL? He had all the key players lining up to support him … crazy Cuban Catholics, retired Chicago Polocks, ….. His message points continued to exploit changes needed in Americaq to ‘right’ Obamas failures.
Was there any doubt that Obama’s 3rd/4th chief of staff couldnt in good conscience execute his failed strategies? I think that guy was a catholic too…Daley, sounds kind of mickish.
Things just keep getting worse for Obama as we ask ourselves … Does he deserve a second chance?

Is the argument you are making that the neanderthalic, anti-contraception ravings of some right wing celibates is going to be a decisive persuader in a U.S. election?
Good luck with that one!
What is wrong with drinking, driving and packing!
but if no one else is going to point out that you’re OFF THE FUCKING TOPIC, then I guess I better. You dipshit threadjacker.
Compare that with this:
The latter sounds like my washing machine when the belt breaks and the drum grinds metal-to-metal.
And, don’t forget, this means the Massachusetts Moderate already has 7% of the delegates he needs to be the nominee. Stick a fork in the Not-Romney’s this thing is as good as over.
But wait, what’s that?
250,000 less turnout in Florida?
Could it be the Florida R’s don’t much care this year? That they actually like Medicare and SS pretty much how they are now, thank you? That they don’t really want to invade Iran, just stick with Israel? That they sense that the deficit is really from cutting taxes while fighting two wars and an R Congress that just wants to embarrass the President without actually submitting a debt reducing budget?
Let’s see- if Colorado R non-binding caucus turnout is 250,000 lower, can we even call it a caucus anymore? Said another way – if the R’s who do show up, are driving DUI while carrying illegally, can anyone actually get arrested or cited?
shake the taint of Santorum from this race immediately — this week — he can’t begin to hope to clean up with enough conservative GOP voters to slow Romney’s surge.
