As the Aspen Times’ Rick Carroll reports, another Democrat is jumping into the race to run against incumbent freshman GOP trainwreck’s trainwreck Rep. Lauren Boebert, and although all eyes right now are on the June 28th Republican primary between Boebert and state Sen. Don “Not a Complete Asshole” Coram, ex-Aspen City Councilman Adam Frisch is looking to make an impact both now and later as needed:
Aspen resident Adam Frisch on Wednesday declared his candidacy for the Democratic nomination to unseat Rep. Lauren Boebert from the 3rd Congressional District, citing confidence in his fundraising ability and political firepower…
Frisch said he will run on such campaign platforms as addressing the economy, gas prices, rural broadband, mental health, water rights for farmers and ranchers, and escalating residential rental rates. He did not, however, disguise his primary objective, which is to make Boebert a one-term representative. Boebert was elected in November 2020 and took office in January 2021.
“I believe that one-third of the people who voted for her are sick and tired of her shenanigans and her betrayal of the district,” he said, “and will support a moderate, mainstream candidate who can work on rural issues.”
Lucid that he is running in an eight-way primary for the nomination to wage an uphill battle to defeat Boebert (or Coram, in the event) in an R+9 district, Frisch says he’s not running to detract from anyone else’s campaign to unseat Boebert, but as part of the community effort to rid the state of our greatest bipartisan political embarrassment:
“I am running alongside, not against, any of the other candidates who are working to see Boebert the Betrayer replaced,” Frisch said in his candidacy statement. [Pols emphasis] “We will build a cross-partisan coalition of Democrats, independents and sensible Republicans to take back our district and protect our democracy from Boebert the Betrayer. Unlike Boebert who has betrayed our district by tearing us apart, I will bring people together to solve problems.
“We will expose Lauren Boebert for betraying the Constitution and the people of the 3rd Congressional District. We are going to ensure that she loses in November.”
Since Sen. Coram’s entry into the CD-3 Republican primary, most of the discussion about the race has shifted to whether a groundswell of unaffiliated voters who are tired of Boebert’s underperformance and unending controversy could be enough to send Boebert packing before Democrats even get to take another swing. In addition to “Boebert the Betrayer” being a clear reference to January 6th, it’s also about the many ways Boebert has failed to effectively represent the interests of CD-3. That’s a message that could make Frisch’s campaign a factor in the Republican primary–and if Frisch means what he says about ousting Boebert being a team effort, we expect he’ll be fine with that.
For today, all effort against the common enemy should be considered welcome.

I like that he put the poster in black and white. Reminds me of footage of one particular group back in the 1940s.
I am sure you meant to write: 40s

Boebert would be lucky to get an Aspen socialite for an opponent.
Boebert would be lucky if she A) can even hold onto this job B) has a crappy restaurant that doesn't go bankrupt, and C) doesn't go to jail.
I wish she would A) lose her job, B) has her crappy restaurant go bankrupt, and C) goes to jail.
But I would settle for one of those. Sadly, not optimistic about any of this happening.
The chances of B and C happening are highly dependent on A !
Well, if Don Coram beats her in a primary, that's a moot point.
It's good to know you're a spokesperson for someone who might be below your maturity level.
Given your personal financial interests in the final outcome of this race, if you really believe that, you should probably be making a very substantial donation to this guy’s campaign???
. . . maybe even volunteer some of your time, and share from your vast acumen and deep insight???
Stay the course, Representative Boebert. Some day they will thank you.
Here's hoping there are some backroom agreements in place to merge lists of supporters of all the Democratic candidates (at least) for whoever emerges from the primary. Mutual endorsements; agreement to continue campaigning in opposition to Boebert;
It is going to take the whole village to oust Rep. Braggart.
I hope so, too. The problem with so many candidates running in a primary is that the one who wins can do so with such a slim majority that they are a weak opponent in the general.
