    1. That tracks well actually, seeing as how the Party of Lincoln has turned the old, incontinent, morbidly obese Adderall junkie/serial rapist into an object of worship.

  1. “Send us your yoga mats.” Ukrainian patrols carry light foam insulation mats over their heads at night so infrared detectors can’t see their body heat.

  2. Waiting for an update from Pols on all the intrigue at the Colorado Dems assembly on Saturday.  It’s bound to be a doozy of infighting and disarray or not.

    1. having sat through the Zoom webinar of the Assembly, my money is on “not.”

There were a few unplanned actions … Joe Garcia using the chat function in an unplanned manner and promising he would not be silenced was my personal favorite.  Runner up was Morgan Carroll calling for a motion and Howard, the person who has been making most of them, wasn’t responding “so moved” immediately.

        1. thanks … I'll blame distractions of a new puppy interrupting my sleep cycle.

But he's (the puppy, not Joe) cute enough to excuse the mis-naming

      1. I participated from the pickleball courts, voting whenever a vote was called, so I missed the intense drama.

These kinds of democratic (small “d”) events with literally no contested offices remind of Communist elections, for some reason.

      1. But does she have elective office experience? I always wonder about the folks who decide that the first office they should run for is U.S. Senate, or Governor . . .

        1. Me too … and promising "more" progressive action without explaining how that would happen in a Senate anything like what we have or are likely to get struck me as a bit of a fail, too.

  3. Trump family payoff: "Saudi Arabia buys off Jared Kushner for $2 Billion".

In related news, Saudi Arabia threatens the United States, demanding that we support their attacks on Yemen or else they won't increase oil production.

Oh, and the Koch brothers-minus-one, are working with Putin.

      1. Duh.

“The explanation for the absence of any American institutional investors in Mr. Kushner’s fund was that he ‘would like to avoid media attention,’ the written responses said. ‘Accordingly, Affinity has approached international investors on a very discreet basis.’”

      2. There is plenty of hypocrisy across the political spectrum, BUT, how does the right-wing noise machine not tie itself into knots hammering the Hunter Biden story, and ignoring this one?

  4. You’d think that if one’s hubby had been arrested for exposing his six inch thumb to underage girls in a bowling alley that maybe, just maybe, you’d sit this one out?  Or not wear a dress inscribed with “Drill baby, drill”“Let’s Go*uck Brandon“ Biden” displayed across your booty to Whore-a-Lago?

    1. Now, if there would be an explicit endorsement and a pledge to offer all of the names she gathered to Coram, it would make it even BETTER

In the meantime, someone ought to start working with her to enter a more do-able race.  County commissioner or state legislator would be an excellent entry point for a longer political career.
