“The more one listens to ordinary conversations the more apparent it becomes that the reasoning faculties of the brain take little part in the direction of the vocal organs.”

So do they call the gazpacho police if there is a wonton killing?
Only after analyzing crime scene samples in the peach tree dish!
And then there's the problem of dumpling the bodies.
Have you no shame, Parkie? At long
last, have you no shame? 😅😅
Sum people are so dim that they would.
Nationalist Christians are going to be the death knell of this great experiment. From today’s Bulwark …
The Cruelty Is the Point
Ron DeSantis did some premium lib-owning yesterday. He gave Fox the exclusive storyabout how he’d chartered two planes to fly 50 undocumented immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
You may recall that DeSantis previously appropriated $12 million of state money to conduct campaign stunts like this, because, as his comms director told Fox:
There are some ironies.
First, the Biden administration explicitly rejects open borders.
Second, the governor of Massachusetts is a Republican. (Though I suspect Martha’s Vineyard was chosen not because it’s in a Republican-governed state, but because America’s first black president owns a house there.)
Third, if the problem is being able to care for illegal immigrants then maybe the state of Florida should have spent the $12 million on, you know, caring for illegal immigrants. Instead of using the money to get earned media for the governor.
Fourth, Ron DeSantis is, supposedly, a Christian.
Don't start a war you can't finish.
NYC has more homeless than FL immigrants. I'm sure that they would love to have a vacation in a warmer climate.
DeSantis sent a hired videographer on the planes to Martha’s Vineyard. He wanted it for campaign footage. He understands how well the symbolism of cruelty to immigrants will play at the next GOP Convention.
Millennials give me hope we’re going to untangle this rat’s nest of GQP stunts/cons and return us to “the shining city on the hill” (a real one this time around)
Michael, Have you seen the front page of today’s Denver Post? A big ol’ headline below the fold asking Is Lauren Boebert a Christian Nationalist? Above the fold is a photo of her walking onto a stage in a dress I swear she must have been melted and poured into.
Her entire wardrobe comes out of a spray can.
That's how she keeps Jayson's "thumb" perpendicular.
Here's her "sermon" if you can stomach the visuals!
A few things to know about this stunt:
1. The migrants were picked up in Texas. DeSantis spent state money to ship people over whom he has no claim of authority.
2. The migrants were told they were going to Boston with expedited work papers. They were flown to Martha's Vineyard instead, and told to wait in a parking lot. IOW, DeSantis committed conspiracy to kidnap (48 counts) across state lines.
3. The lady who rounded up the migrants for this stunt had immigration paperwork on each migrant. Either there is a DHS conspirer, or they connected with a shady 3rd party immigration shelter service. It's also probable the the lady impersonated an official in doing this.
4. DeSantis frequently uses Martha's Vineyard as a stand-in for a woke, elitist society. This was the very definition of a political stunt to promote his campaign. (Aka misuse of state funds.)
He's admitted to it; I see no reason why indictments shouldn't start flying before next weekend.
That's because Florida has more money to waste than Texas.
Have you all seen this unbelievably disingenuous MSM BULLSHIT piece attempting to spin O'Dear's cowardly half-assed attempts not to own his previous statements regarding abortion as 'a possibly winning new approach in Colorado'? What horse crap!
