I think we are finally seeing a turn of the tide. People in general are fed up with the MAGA lunacy and just wanting it to end. Not saying he is MAGA but just turning the office over to Republicans is not a good idea at this time, and even other Republicans see that.

Just because I've supported Cynthia Coffman in the past doesn't mean I agree with her on everything. I'll be voting for the Republican nominee to crack down on out of control crime in Colorado.

Let’s set the record straight. By law, the Colorado Attorney General is not the primary person or agency that prosecutes criminals in our state. That is the responsibility of the district attorneys. Colorado statutes give the AG very limited authority to prosecute criminals in areas such as medicaid fraud, tax fraud, securities fraud and consumer fraud, but all the “knife and gun club” crimes, such as murder, sexual assault, burglary, theft, crimes committed with a firearm, assault and battery are solely within the prosecutorial authority of the local district attorney. Taking your assertion that crime is out of control in Colorado is true, you need to ask Mr. Kellner why he has not stopped it. He is the only elected official in the 18th judicial district that has the authority to do so.

IIRC, wasn’t Cynthia “Taller” Coffman Moderatus’ choice for governor in 2018 after Boy George Brauchler dropped out but before Dufus Stapleton won the nomination?
She was the one of whom Dems were supposed to be so frightened. Looks like John Kellner is the only one who needs to fear her.
They might have been better off running that guy from Texas as their AG candidate. At least it would have brought out all the nut jobs instead of someone like Kellner straddling the fence between establishment Republicans and nut jobs.
I'm going out on a limb here and say that Cynthia Coffman doesn't qualify as a MAGA Republican. I suspect she is going to get some tough emails in the near future.

Been watching the legal system for the past two years in Douglas County with absolute disgust. The lack of ethics and professionalism in the Sheriff Department and DA's office can be laid directly at Kellner's feet. He has covered up a TON of political cronie misconduct and should never be allowed anywhere near a position of public trust.
Anyone know why the moderate Republican support for Weisser? I’m not complaining but his opponent isn’t a crazy, just under qualified. Parties nominate under qualified candidates all the time.
