    1. Lulz. Speaking of disclosures (or lack thereof)…

      MAGA: Making Attorneys Get Attorneys

Trump lawyer Christina Bobb speaks to federal investigators in Mar-a-Lago case

The certification statement, signed June 3 by Bobb, indicated that Trump was in compliance with a May grand jury subpoena and no longer had possession of a host of documents with classification markings at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, according to the three sources who do not want to comment publicly because of the sensitive nature of the sprawling federal investigation.

    1. Meh. Don’t know her name?  I’m pretty confident nearly everyone here knows her. Forget her name? That’s an entirely different question, and the answer is “yes”.

At this point there’s little difference between her and Empty-G. They both love dictators and want to roll back rights for the LGBTQ community.

      Dick-taters?  She’ll get cozy…

Gabbard’s public record points in a much different direction, toward an “America first” Trumpism of the left that would restore the Middle East’s dictators club as long as it benefits the United States. On closer analysis, hers is a foreign policy that favors authoritarianism cloaked as counter-terrorism, nationalism cloaked as anti-interventionism, and Islamophobia barely cloaked at all.

      1. Per Matthew 5:31-32 this woman is destined to be an adulteress. I can't find an accommodation in the text of my Bible for a marriage covenant between a man, a manager at her gym, and a self-proclaimed tantric sex guru and a woman.

        #WhiteProsperityJesus works in mysterious ways.

        1. "marriage covenant between a man, a manager at her gym, a self-proclaimed tantric sex guru, and a woman."

Maybe it's the start of a line marriage, as envisioned by Robert A. Heinlein in his classic "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress." Always liked that book, which I still have, about the overthrow of a corporate dictatorship.

      1. Tulsi grew up Republican and her dad, Mike, has served in the Hawaii legislature as a Republican (he's a decent guy).  Tulsi's identity as a Democrat was arguably a convenient designation that would assure her success in an Hawaiian Congressional race.  Running as a Republican would have been a death knell.

Look for her to join the latest round of grifters harvesting $20 bills like they were Palisade peaches in August.

    2. One fewer Democrat.

In the time from November 1, 2020 to October 1, 2022, the Secretary of State shows there are 93,194 fewer Republican active voter registrations in the state of Colorado.  [to be fair, there's been a decline in Democratic active voter registrations, too — 84,274).

But with the decrease, Republicans are now 24.9% of the active voters, and about 110,000 behind the Democrats' 27.8%

    1. I was pleasantly surprised this piece of shit resigned so quickly. Here's hoping this ugliness defines every single second of the rest of her life.

      Also, lol AOL

  1. I see Pfruit is up and finely tuning his critical thinking skills and independent thought while reading the Washington Examiner. Nothing interesting in the Epoch Times this morning? Tulsi Gabbard? Yawn. There’s not much any daylight between her and Little Tucker. Good riddance.

  2. What would happen if all the bees went extinct? Research by Harvard University gives us a clue, a conclusion that surprises almost no one: neonictinoids.

This has been a tug-of-war between the scientific community and the agro-industrial complex (largely Monsanto, now BayerAG) that spans back the 2014 Farm Bill. In 2023 we’ll have, once again, the opportunity to reshape farm policy. Let’s hope we can address this problem once and for all.

  3. Something you won’t read in the Washington Examiner or see on FauxSnooze today:

Joe Biden Just Crushed China’s Semiconductor Industry

What Thompson is talking about with the “weights” here is the fact that this policy doesn’t just hurt China’s ability to get chips now—thus hurting its economy and military. It also hobbles China’s ability to build its own advanced semiconductor industry because now the Chinese have to reinvent every wheel in the process just to get to par as it exists in the West circa 2022.

Maybe you should mention this the next time someone suggests that Biden hasn’t been “tough on China.”

    1. It's complicated, Parkie.  The Saudis now have ties to Israel.  And blaming ther government for the World Trade Center is like blaming ours for Oklahoma City.

      1. MBS (Mr Bone Saw), The House of Saud and Saudi Arabia are clearly aligned with Trump against Biden. Raising oil prices at this juncture is obviously supporting Russia, disrupting the world economy, and intentionally timed to hurt the Democratic Party in the mid-terms.

Saudi Arabian religious leaders have created a network of radical Islamic schools around the world. This has led to a generational increase in Islamic terrorism across Northern Africa.

I don't trust their ties to Israel, but that is just my opinion based on my suspicion of Jared Kushner, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.

  4. Tesla Brand is in the Toilet.

Elon Musk is his own worst enemy. First Twitter; now he destroys the Tesla brand in one fell swoop by talking with Putin and volunteering to “negotiate” Ukraine. Sort of like Donald Trump.

    1. “Musk told @ianbremmer that Putin was “prepared to negotiate,” but only if Crimea remained Russian, if Ukraine accepted a form of permanent neutrality, and Ukraine recognised annexation of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.”

        1. I’ll toast to civil discourse at a Polcats gathering as long as I don’t organize it.

Seriously, there’s not much to it- pick a time and reasonably centrally located place, announce it a few times-and see who shows up.

Or do the Zoom thing, and drink at home. Can’t beat the commute, and we could even see some of our Western Slope and SoCo brethren.

            1. Let’s actually get together. I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m pretty over Zoom-ing. I miss people.  Pick someplace with TVs and we can keep an eye on the returns coming in.

  5. What does Madison Cawthorn do now?

Since his defeat in May, Cawthorn, who through a spokesman declined to be interviewed, has voted by proxy 86 times in the House, according to congressional records, assigning his votes to fellow Trumpist firebrands such as Lauren Boebert (Colo.), Matt Gaetz (Fla.), Louie Gohmert (Tex.) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.). He has introduced 11 bills since his primary loss, only one of which — the repeal of the National Firearms Act — has attracted a co-sponsor (Boebert).
