9:06 p.m.: NBC projects Obama will win Iowa. The math is simple now; an Obama win in Florida, Virgina or Colorado will seal it.

9:01 p.m.: NBC news calls North Carolina for Romney.

8:50 p.m.: Obama leads 56-42 in Iowa with 33% reporting. Obama ahead 51-47 in Colorado with 65% reporting. If Obama wins both states, he wins re-election.

8:40 p.m.: Minnesota called for Obama.

8:36 p.m.: Romney leads 50-49 in North Carolina with 94% reporting. Romney also ahead 50-49 in Virginia with 74% reporting. Florida and Virginia expected to be decided by less than 1%.

8:17 p.m.: Obama ahead 51-48 in Ohio with 54% reporting.

8:12 p.m.: Obama will win re-election with victory in Florida or Ohio or Colorado-Iowa. Romney path to victory basically…win everything left.

7:58 p.m.: Obama slightly ahead in both Florida and Ohio. In Florida, 85% reporting.

7:47: NBC calls New Hampshire for Obama. Romney can’t afford to lose any swing states now.

7:44 p.m.: Obama up 51-47 in Colorado with 49% reporting.

7:35 p.m.: With 82% reporting in Florida, Obama ahead 50-49.

7:32 p.m.: Obama ahead 53-46 in Ohio with 36% reporting. Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown will win re-election.

7:25 p.m.: NBC News calls Wisconsin for Obama.

7:23 p.m.: Obama up 53-46 in Colorado with 33% reporting.

7:21 p.m. In Colorado, Obama leads 53-45 with 22% reporting.7:16 p.m. With 78% reporting in Florida, Obama and Romney tied at 50.

7:12 p.m. NBC News calls Pennsylvania for Obama. Earlier today Team Romney projected a decisive victory in Pennsylvania.

7:03 p.m. Romney up 54-45 in Virginia with 39% reporting. Obama ahead in Ohio 55-44 with 29% reporting.7:00 p.m. Obama projected to win Michigan.

6:51 p.m. Obama ahead in Florida 50-49 with 62% reporting, but heavily-Democratic counties in South Florida are just now reporting.

6:45 p.m. Obama ahead in Florida 51-49 with 60% reporting. If Obama wins Florida, Romney must win essentially every remaining swing state.

5:58 p.m. NBC News has Obama with the lead in Florida with 41% reporting.

          1. Guess the bloviating coward is gonna take his “fact” lists and play somewhere else.  I betcha we’ll be spotting his wok puppet inside of 4 weeks

    1. Florida is just one weird state.  From geography, climate, politics, administration.

I certainly couldn’t see all that when I was a kid but now as a wise old man 🙂 it’s so obvious.

  1. I just saw that “thousands” of mail ballots – mine? My wife’s? – are being rejected for “signature issues”.  Those ballots must not be destroyed until someone can see what that crook Gessler’s henchmen are up to!

    1. Then you have a period of time (don’t remember how long) to go fix the problem.  They rejected thousands of mail ballots last time and a high percentage of them were resolved and counted.

  2. while folks are still in line in FL. Right now there are network news execs in David Gregory’s ear telling him not to get to 270 until  polls close in CA, WA and OR

    1. His dad was MI Gov & Mitt claimed it for,his roots

He was MA Gov & drove Bain for their

He claims NH for his happy vacation Eden

and they all gave him goose eggs

Only place he won was with the LDS.  Sweet!
