Poll: Will The U.S. House Expel Rep. George Santos?

Indicted Republican freshman Rep. George Santos of New York faces a motion to be expelled from in the U.S. House of Representatives tomorrow, the third such attempt to remove Santos after Santos’ movie-plot alleged double life as a serial fabulist and canine con artist who turned his congressional campaign into a discretionary spending account for everything from Botox injections to OnlyFans exploded into first headlines, then a criminal investigation and felony charges. This time around, a damning Ethics Committee report substantiating the allegations against Santos has pushed a significant number of Republicans including Colorado’s Rep. Ken Buck off the fence–those it’s unknown as of now whether the two-thirds majority required has materialized. Colorado’s other GOP Reps. Doug Lamborn and Lauren Boebert are publicly undecided, though as readers know Boebert and Santos have struck up an unlikely friendship on the back bench of the U.S. House, Santos even getting prop time with Boebert’s regularly in-tow grandchild.

Ahead of tomorrow’s expected vote on a motion to expel Rep. Santos, let’s put the question to readers: do you think Santos’ detractors have the votes to expel him?

*Remember, as always with our totally non-scientific polls, we want to know what you legitimately THINK will happen — not what you hope will happen. If you had to bet the deed to your house that your prediction would be correct, how would you vote?

Will Rep. George Santos be expelled by the GOP-controlled U.S. House?
