The Colorado Republican Party issued a press release today entitled “What Does Pat Stryker Have To Hide?: Will An Examination of How She Spends Her Money Reveal a Liberal, Anti-Christian, Pro-Homosexual Agenda Shared With Gay Rights Activist Tim Gill?”
Just to give people here a taste of the kind of press releases the Colorado GOP puts out, I have copied this one below.
What Does Pat Stryker Have To Hide?
Will An Examination of How She Spends Her Money Reveal a Liberal, Anti-Christian, Pro-Homosexual Agenda Shared With Gay Rights Activist Tim Gill?
On October 16th Mark G. Grueskin, legal council for Pat Stryker, sent the Colorado Republican Party a letter threatening legal action if the Colorado Republicans continued their examination of Stryker’s political contributions and involvement.
It has become very clear why Mr. Grueskin and Ms. Stryker wanted so badly to stop Colorado Republicans from looking at Stryker’s political activity. In addition to the almost one million dollars Stryker has spent in an effort to defeat Representative Marilyn Musgrave with her 527 organization: “Coloradans for Life”, she has also joined gay rights activist Tim Gill in his agenda.
Colorado’s Newspapers Have Described Stryker and Gill’s Shared Interests
“The Stryker Contribution Constitutes More Than Half Of The Nearly $500,000 Raised By Coloradans For Fairness, Which Opposes The Marriage Amendment And Supports A Domestic Partnership Measure.”
(Erin Emery and Kevin Simpson, “Gay Rights Get Funding Boost Foes Of State Bans On Gay Partnerships Have A 5-To-1 Money Edge,” The Denver [CO] Post, 7/12/06)
.
“Who Supports [Allowing Gay Couples To Register As Domestic Partners And Obtain Many Rights And Responsibilities Given To Married Couples]: Sponsor Coloradans For Fairness Has Received About $3.5 Million Of Donations And Services Since January, $2 Million Of The Total From The Political Action Committee Of Gay Philanthropist Tim Gill.”

.
“Fort Collins Heiress Pat Stryker Gave [$100,000 On] July 10 To Coloradans For Fairness And Equality, Which Is Campaigning For A Measure That Would Give Gay Couples Many Of The Benefits And Responsibilities Afforded To Married Couples. It Is On The Ballot Because Of Legislative Action.”
(Myung Oak Kim, “Donations Flow In Gay Marriage Debate,” Rocky Mountain [CO] News, 8/3/06)
.
“Pat Stryker, Who Gave A Record $3 Million In 2002 To Defeat An English-Only Initiative, Also Has Pledged To Support Coloradans For Fairness And Equality, Which Wants Voters To Give Gay Couples Many Of The Same Benefits And Responsibilities Extended To Married Couples.”
(Myung Oak Kim, “Donations Flow In Gay Marriage Debate,” Rocky Mountain [CO] News, 8/3/06)
• Stryker’s Assistant Al Yates: “Pat will support that campaign.”

Gill Has Financially Supported Over-The-Top Programs Such As the
Denver Pride Fest And Queer Prom
Rocky Mountain News Covered Pride Fest on June 26.
One unidentified float was covered with rainbow flags and three posters that read: “Privacy is a right,” “Marriage and legal rights for all,” and “Transexuals rule!” There were also the requisite men in leather and/or spandex and men in drag, with bridal gowns the most popular choice of outfits this year – an obvious statement on the gay marriage debate. Making their parade debut was El Futuro, a Colorado community center for Latinos. The group’s float consisted of two young Latinos in red Speedos riding on the hood of a convertible sedan.
Lollipops, lubricants and condoms were tossed out to the crowd.
“They need more stuff to pass out,” said Patrick Walsh, of Denver. “Beads. Candy. Men. Whatever.”
(Fernando Quintero, “Parade Has Political Feel During Crucial Election Year,” Rocky Mountain [CO] News, 6/26/06)
It is very clear the type of Agenda people like Pat Stryker and Tim Gill are trying to push with their donations in an attempt to buy Colorado government officials with their millions in campaign contributions.

And what business is it of the Colorado GOP what the hell Tim Gill does with his money? He can burn it, he can finance gay pride events in eveery county in Colorado, or he can give it to a televangist if he wants.
If that is a release from the state party, it will be quoted forever as evidence that if the GOP gets a chance, it will repeal the Civil Rights, Americans for Disability and other laws that ban racial, sexual and ethnic discrimination.
The party’s national platform calls for institutionalized bigotry.
Thus, this is no surprise.
While bigotry may sell for a few more elections, America’s younger people won’t stand for it, and Republicans will pay the price by losing power for a long time.
How can the Christian Republican Party be so hateful?
They will continue to hold the flag of bigotry high and trample the constitution for years to come.
The funny thing about the christian republican party is that it isnt very christian. Im sure that you have noticed that.
My point.
What, wealthy hard right wingnuts don’t give big bucks to the GOP?
“Rep. Dave Schultheis, fresh off a night patrol of the U.S.-Mexico border with infrared binoculars and a gun, said he believes private volunteer groups are doing a better job of trying to seal the southern border than the federal government.” (gazette.com October 06, 2005)
I personally only know one purpose fro a gun and nightvision! There’s more…
“In the e-mail last week, Schultheis asked about the citizenship status of the family, three of whose children died after a car wreck Oct. 2. The Tribune put the e-mail online, where hundreds of readers continue to discuss it.” (The Tribune, Oct 11, 2006)
Let’s see.. Translation “We really don’t feel for dead kids when they are Brown” and there is more…
California’s Attorney General is investigating a letter recently mailed to thousands of California voters with Latino surnames in Orange County, warning that they could be arrested or deported if they vote in the November election.
The letter warns newly registered immigrants and naturalized citizens that they could be arrested or deported for voting on November 7. Some in the Latino community say it’s a bald-faced attempt to suppress Latino voter turnout in Orange County. The letter was backed by Republican Candidate Tan D. Nguyen who is running against incumbent Rep. Loretta Sanchez
How quickly we forget the atrocities bigotry and racism and continue to elect narrow minded leaders under the name of God! Lollipops don’t sound like such a bad idea.
Prior to this exposГ©, did everyone believe Pat Stryker was anti-gay?
