The Pro-Normal Party Coalition (feat. Adam Frisch)

  • by: Colorado Pols

This week on the Get More Smarter Podcast…keep your kids away from Gabe-ish Evans because he might want to hit them (or at least have that option). Then, we continue to examine the mystery of why the Arizona GOP is doing the job of the Colorado GOP, because don’t they have enough of their own problems with Kari friggin’ Lake as their US Senate candidate? Donald Trump came to that part of Aurora that…really isn’t in Aurora. And The Big Lie is back in a big way for 2024, forcing us to ask the uncomfortable question: Will ANY Republican actually concede an election they lose this year?

But first, you know him as the guy who nearly beat our 8th favorite member of Congress from Colorado in the wildest near-upset of the 2022 election: Adam Frisch joins us to talk about his campaign for the third congressional district and what it’s been like running against our favorite bread sandwich.

  1. Great interview, gentleman.

I never knew how big the district was and how close he had come to winning it.

Here is hoping for some good news in 3 weeks.

  2. Pretty softball questions for Mr. Frisch.

Readers would have liked to hear Mr. Frisch answer:

Why not identify yourself as a Democrat on your website?

Regarding Harry Truman’s quote: “Given the choice between a Republican and someone who acts like a Republican, people will vote for the real Republican all the time.” Would you care to comment?

I tried to leave this comment via angryrants@getmoresmarter, but you have my mail blocked, Pols. Why is that?

And before y’all jump on my case about if I’d prefer the Bread Sandwich guy, no of course not. But I do think that Harry Truman was right.

  3. When will Trisha Calvarese, Boebert's current Democratic opponent, be invited onto the Get More Smarter podcast? Calvarese would be a great interviewee. She is smart, politically savvy, in tune with her district, and funny.

And Boebert is contending with 62% disapproval ratings. Per Newsweek:

Depending on who runs the poll, Calvarese is either 10 points behind Boebert, or 9 points ahead.
Ian Silverii might have another apology to make to a candidate he dismissed.

This has been another comment blocked from angryrants@getmoresmarter.com
