As Colorado Newsline reported Monday, the failed pretender to the position of Colorado Republican Party chairman Eli Bremer conceded final defeat in his months-long quest to unseat chairman Dave “Forever Brandon” Williams by withdrawing the lawsuit to determine the question that was set to begin this week. Bremer’s stand-down comes after an El Paso County judge conclusively ruled in late September that the vote engineered by Bremer and his faction of supporters to remove Williams was invalid. This eliminated any chance of leadership at the party changing before the election, or likely until the next regular election for party executives next March.
Although Williams won the fight to keep his job and the at-will payouts to his consultant business that come with it, there’s still the question of what the party is doing in these final few weeks to help Republican candidates up and down the ballot win the rapidly-approaching November 5th elections. Under Williams’ leadership, the party has shown little to no aptitude for the coordinated organizing that parties are traditionally tasked with. Congressional candidates are less affected by this capacity gap after the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) teamed up with Bremer during the party’s interregnum period to keep basic operations like stump visits and mail pieces going out–the latter with the help of the still-operational Arizona Republican Party. But with the exception of the period when it was beneficial to Williams personally, the state party has neither the resources nor the inclination to perform this most essential of jobs.
So what is the Colorado Republican Party doing with two and a half weeks remaining until an election they must do well in to avoid losing their last vestige of legislative power, you ask?
If your hope is for Republicans to win back anything they’ve lost in Colorado, you may not want to know:
That’s right, folks–while local Republican campaigns struggle on their own without the coordinated campaign support they enjoyed in years past, and the Arizona Republican Party intercedes to keep some semblance of a campaign functioning on behalf of Republican congressional candidates, the Colorado Republican Party is completely preoccupied with the overriding obsession of the party’s “Director of Special Initiatives” Darcy Schoening–ferreting out the threat of “gender ideology” in our public schools. Instead of directing Republicans to volunteer opportunities to get out the vote, Schoening has the GOP rank-and-file contacting school boards in Colorado Springs and Pueblo to “take down the liberal agenda” that allows “trans porn books to be checked out by children.”
To call this sideshow a waste of time at the moment Colorado Republicans can least afford it is an understatement. It’s as if the Colorado Republican Party is totally unaware that there is an election coming up in less than three weeks. This is the sort of call to action you send out…well, preferably never, but failing that at least well away from an imminent election so as not to distract from the most important objective of any political party–winning elections.
It’s what happens when you elect a leader who doesn’t care what happens outside the bubble of his own ambition.
And in that disregard, Dave Williams is not alone.

Look at those two pictures. One a grown armed woman, the other a child being exploited and bullied for expressing themselves freely by that grown armed woman.
Darcy is even more hideous on the inside and she's putting thousands of kids in danger with her hateful rhetoric. As a parent of an LGBTQ child, Darcy makes me sick, but the silver lining is this just turns more folks away from the cancerous GOP.
