Lauren Boebert Has Heard Some Wild Stuff About Aliens

9NEWS reports from the GOP-controlled U.S. House Oversight Committee yesterday back in lame-duck action to tie up some loose ends before the holiday break. For Colorado’s carpetbagging controversy-seeking Congresscritter Reo. Lauren Boebert, that would appear to be getting answers to rumors she’s heard about…let’s let Boebert explain this one:

“There are rumors that have come up to the Hill of a secretive project within the Department of Defense involving the manipulation of human genetics with what is described as non-human genetic material for the enhancement of human capabilities, hybrids,” Boebert said. “Are any of you familiar with that? Yes, or no?”

All of the experts said they were not familiar with that claim. Boebert spent most of her time asking about non-human civilizations in the ocean’s depths.

“Are there any accounts of UAPs emerging from or submerging into our waters which could indicate a base or presence between the ocean’s surface,” Boebert asked. “Are there any technological capabilities that have been observed in these oceanic UAPs to defy our current understanding of physics or human engineering capabilities?”

Boebert left the hearing without answers but said she “will not relent until we get those answers to the American people.”

Mind you, this was a hearing featuring experts who agreed with the general point that the “deep state” is not being sufficiently transparent about research into UFOs. You would think those experts would be conversant enough in the prevalent theories about aliens among us (we confess we are not) to at least be aware of some of the weirdly specific allegations Boebert made about an alleged secret government lab hybridizing humans with aliens and underwater alien civilizations.

But it appears even the UFO experts hadn’t heard Boebert’s latest. As readers know, Boebert’s conspiracy theory-addled mother is a source of talking points from the outer limits, through which Boebert says she became “very familiar” with the “QAnon” fictional universe. If Boebert’s mom was visiting Washington when she briefed Boebert on hybrid human/aliens and underwater alien cities, the story could technically have come “up to the Hill?”

For those of you who believe this stuff and we’re aware some percentage of you do, if the alien-hybrid underwater supermen do make their grand appearance someday, we’ll take our doubts back.

  1. She's close, but the UAPs are actually just "yoopers" from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and they're doing what they jokingly call "research" in beer-swilling fishing boats on Lake Superior. Everybody knows this.
