Yesterday at Denverpost.com:
On Easter Sunday, the sun should rise bright and clear and temperatures will rise into the upper 50s.
So here’s some “media accountability” for you. Happy snowbound Easter.
We agree that Denver mayor John Hickenlooper is probably not to blame for this. If you have evidence to the contrary, please post it below.

I’m a native, lived here for all but 4 of my 70 plus years, and remember my (also native) mother saying we seldom had much chance of a “White Christmas” but could pretty well count on a White Easter.
It’s wonderful to hear these memories. There’s a lot of wisdom and knowledge that resides in your years…and the memories of your mother! Hope you share more.
is that we had both this year. 🙂 It is always good to see a nice spring snow that melts slowly into the aquifers.
New Years too. As long as the 4th doesn’t have snow…..:-) Has that ever happened?
at the foot of Long peak on 4th of July and been snowed upon. Not to mention we locked our keys in the truck…LOL
with my niece and nephew about a week after the 4th a couple of years ago. Of course that was on the side of Pikes Peak!
Colorado is the only place where the saying “if you don’t like the weather wait ten minutes” is actually true.
It rained last year on the 4th of July. My wife and I were under a tarp to keep dry and some kid came and…”relieved” themselves in front of our tarp.
Totally random I know, but it’s late and I have ADD….
Snow on Memorial Day; Snow on Labor Day….4th of July…not so much within the city limits…
on the 4th before.
