And to all an improved New Year!
Happy holidays??? OK! I hope you all enjoy your memorial day…wait thasts not it, enjoy easter…nope…oh yea its Christmas for christians, and Hanakka (sorry for destroying the spelling) for our Jewish friends. Please take the time to say them both, and offend less people.
Merry Christmas to all, and may the new year bring you great Joy!
Peace….
Raiders
I guess my theory about there being an ID in heaven is wrong, Go Raiders. They looked awful. Of course every team the Donkeys have played this year have a losing season. Makes them look oh so good.
Can’t Believe it’s not Butter,
Lets not forget to also wish the Chinese readers a happy Dong zhi, and the Persians Yalda. And we better include the St. Stephen’s Day, Festivus, Saturnalia, Agnostica, Kwanzaa, Newtonmas, Karachun, and Boxing Day holidays to make sure we don’t offend any of those people.
Also, my birthday is coming up soon, and I know you don’t celebrate it, but I think it is offensive if you don’t go around wishing everyone for me to have a happy one.
Oh, and you should change your screenname. It offends me because I do believe it is not butter.
No one even mentioned Yule, the original midwinter holiday. Bigots. 🙂
Thanks Go Raiders. Peace is on my list wish as well. However, peering into my crystal ball I see a very contentious New Year.
Christmas was a wonderful event this year, much better than last for my family. Children well; visiting relatives from three points on the compass; an 85 year old grandmother to keep us all sober:-); and lots of great food and wonderful gifts.
We went to see C.S. Lewis’s story of the Chronicles of Narnia (which stood in for Christian Mass this year). Wow, the Christian symbolism made it a very predictable story since, growing up a good Catholic, the story of Jesus is quite familiar. The lion was even a long hair:-)
Yes, the battle between good and evil is an ancient one. And yes, Good always prevails.
Now let’s get on with Impeachment and have a regime change here at home. Bring not only our sons and daughters home, but our money as well.
Happy New Year!
Sir Robin,
