The first campaign fiance reports for Jefferson County offices (not state legislative races) were made public last week. Among other things, it appears as though incumbent Commissioner Kathy Hartman is in good shape against Republican challenger Donald Rosier, as is incumbent Clerk and Recorder Pam Anderson in her race against challenger Kathryn Wallace. None of the candidates for County Treasurer have raised much of anything.
A breakdown of the fundraising reports for County candidates is after the jump.
*Format below is for the period between Nov. 2009 and July 2010: AMOUNT RAISED/AMOUNT SPENT/CURRENT CASH-ON-HAND
COUNTY COMMISSIONER
Kathy Hartman (D): $33,010/ $18,411/ $18,592
Don Rosier** (R): $19,000/ $13,000/ $11,227
**Note the total contributions in the reported “summary” for Rosier are actually significantly less than what he actually raised. The report was inaccurately filed to list many candidate expenses as contributions.
CLERK AND RECORDER
Pam Anderson (R): $13,390/ $4,467/ $9,331
Kathryn Wallace (D): $4,260/ $1,872/ $3,487
TREASURER
Larry Schultz (D): $4,541/ $1,904/ $3,136
Tim Kauffman (R): $1,591/ $0/ $1,591
David Villano (R): $700 / $700/ $0
