We’ve changed the Big Line, with several new additions. We’ll discuss the changes at length later on. In the meantime, have at it.

  1. Yeah! Holtzman has tons of momentum after his staff went out and violated tons of privacy ethics… At least now we know whose in bed with the Dead Guvs (as gross as that sounds…).

Speaking of which, has he fired Teal yet?

  2. LT sent out an e-mail late last night to the MH list, so, I’m pretty sure she’s in it for the long haul.

I wouldn’t expect her to be going anywhere.

  3. I was in error on one of the statewide races.  I thought Jared Polis was up for re-election in 2006 http://www.cde.state.co.us/cdeboard/bdjaredpolis.htm for State Board of Education At Large (statewide election) even though it isn’t mentioned at http://www.elections.colorado.gov/WWW/default/Political%20Parties/2006_offices_filled.pdf but just confirmed from Karen Gerwitz at CDE that his at-large seat was eliminated with the addition of the 7th district seat but he is not required to step down until his term ends in January 2007 (there are no at-large seats for State Board of Education to be filled).

I did check Dan Willis’ rumors page after my post and he already had the CU Regent At Large 2006 Republican candidates listed.  You’re on the ball, Dan!

  4. So why do you call Tancredo a “nut?”

He’s the one Congressman in the state who is providing national leadership on a critical issues—illegal immigration reform and border security reform.

His leadership is recognized everywhere but Coloradopols and the Denver Post, as expected.

The “nuts” are Americans who support illegal immigration, insecure borders and unpatriotic anti-war protests.

If you’d like to see a real loser at work, read Diane Degette’s interview on this site. It certainly is the weakest effort so far.

  5. Beauprez shoulod have a down arrow!  He’s clearly become one of those typical Washington politicans who tries to be all things to all people and actually stands for nothing.  Not a good image for a Colorado Republican primary.

  6. Wow – great to see some action in my CD 6 – usually everyone forgets about us!!  So, I graduate in less than 2 weeks with a degree in Poly Sci and I really want to get involved with some campaigns in 2006.  I do not care for TT at all, but where would my efforts be best targeted?  I have read many posts on this site saying CD 6 is pretty much a lost cause – is this true?  Don’t the voters in my district care about him being a single issue voter?  Do they care about him voting against the hurricane relief?  Do they care about his talking points on terrorism and what we should do to them if they…?  Well, you get the point.  Maybe I just need to move out of CD 6?  Seems like a democrat down here is all but forgotton.  With my representation including David Balmer, Nancy Spence, and TT, it’s kind of like the democrats have written me off.  Is there anyway a democrat can win in this area?  THANKS – just looking for some direction here!

  7. CD6YD,

You want to know where a leftist can get a job?  Call Governor Owens.  He’s a good Dimocrat.  He’ll be stumping for anybody who wants to raise taxes and expand government.

  8. Hey, Plumber, that’s a funny post on your blog about Euro-English. And equally good is the link to the blog on the corrupt Canadian media and political system.

    Don
