Reminder: Gov. Scott Walker Says Recall Elections Are Bad

AP reported to Wisconsin news outlets last week, and today's the day:

On July 26, [Gov. Scott] Walker has scheduled a fundraiser at the Colorado Auto Dealers Association. General admission tickets are $500 or $2,500 to get a picture with Walker and entry to a private reception.

That night he is the keynote speaker as part of the Western Conservative Summit in Denver…

We couldn't get past the irony of a visit by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's visit to Colorado this weekend, just as recall elections against two Democratic state Senators are heating up. Gov. Walker, as most readers know, recently survived a hotly-contested recall election in that state after his signing of controversial anti-collective bargaining legislation.

Based on a news clip video were were forwarded yesterday, it's a pretty safe bet Gov. Walker will avoid the subject of recall elections in his keynote address tonight to the Western Conservative Summit.

Because his is, safe to say, not the message the GOP wants Coloradans to hear about recalls.

  1. Recall for a law unions don't like: frivolous.

Recall for violating the people's constitutional rights: right on.

    That's the difference, libs.

    1. WIS: Recall for a law that the people didn't like, and a process that was unethical at the least.

COLO: Recall for a law the majority supported, and the NRA and Gun Suckers didn't like.

      Study it out, Cletus.

    2. I have still yet to see a conservative explain how any of the laws passed violate constitutional rights.

You can still buy guns, you can still buy bullets.
