  1. For more evidence that it is the EMPLOYERS who should be held accountable for illegal immigration check out the latest from CNN and USA Today:

click here: It’s the EMPLOYERS stupid!

    Police: Wal-Mart site raided
About 125 arrested on immigration violations at Pennsylvania construction location.
    November 18, 2005: 11:14 AM EST

Schuylkill County Capt. Dennis Kane confirmed the raid to CNN. USA Today reported that the workers were working on a million-square-foot distribution center in Butler Township, in eastern Pennsylvania.

But this is not the first time that Wal-Mart has been tarnished by a raid that found illegal immigrants working for its contractors. Two years ago raids at 61 Wal-Mart stores in 21 states resulted in the arrests of about 250 illegal immigrants working on cleaning crews.

  2. So we can blame Wal-Mart because the contractor building their distribution center hired illegal immigrants?

By the way, why do liberals care so much? I thought you believed illegals were okay and they should be allowed to stay in the U.S. and get jobs.

Or is this just an anti-capitalism push against a successful corporation?

  3. I work for a company that has in the past been a sub contractor for a Wal Mart store in Fountain Colo.
They can’t control every sub that works on their sites. They actually have very strict rules that have to be followed for their subs, but I don’t think you can convince me that they have anything to do with who the actual workers on site are. Their general contractor puts out for bids and the lowest bidder for most every phase is contracted to do the work. It isn’t like Wal Mart hires their own employees to build the buildings…
