Stay Classy, "Birther" Frank McNulty

  • by: Colorado Pols

When it comes to internet memes, former GOP Colorado House Speaker Frank McNulty is terribly clever:

mcnultyclassyobama

Better than what, we hesitate to ask? Because we're pretty sure Barack Obama is indeed from Hawaii.

Wink, nod.

  1. He must call Obama a "commie" because even he knows it's too politically incorrect to call him what he'd really like to call him. Nothing Obama has said or done shows him to being anything but the centrist he ran and won as so we can assume "commie" is just a word picked to be insulting without being racist. So is the whole born in Kenya thing.

  2. I'm thinking something big is being camoflauged by the righties.

The bright shiny (or dull like a turd) object has us all looking at redleg hate, racism, ignorance, and misinformation. They're all doing it, as though on cue.

Nothing stupid that mcnulty does surprises me, but this seems staged.

Is it to now deflect attention from the ACA wesite getting fixed, the success of the gay rights advocates and the legislation about to be passed in the Senate, or something that I'm just not thinking about?

rand paul getting slapped for his lazy staff stealing other peoples' work, the horrible numbers for the pinko majority in the House? Virginia?

I'm always ready to chalk it up to the hard wired fear and hate republicans are cursed with at birth, but this seems almost contrived.

Better check to see what ole reince is up to. call too.

  3. It passed out of the Senate! For the first time in U.S. history, the Senate approved the Employment Non-Discrimination Act by a bipartisan vote of 64-32, sending the legislation to the House of Representatives. – The Advocate

It won't see the lightof dayin the House, though. Bonehead has already vowed to keep it in his pocket (not a place I'd like to be). I don't think ther are any procedural moves that can be made in the House as in the Senate to force a vote. Does anyone know?

    1. Best procedural move I can think of will have to wait about a year. I move we take 17 House seats back from the GOTP and make Nancy Pelosi Speaker again. Our first woman Speaker has always demonstrated that she knows how to get things done and, as far as I can see, has never said or done anything to justify her demonization by the right. Unless just being from San Francisco is demonic?

  4. You're probably right about procedure, BlueCat. But would Ms.Pelosi have to dig the bill out of Bonehead's pocket herself? Eeww. Also will allowing it to languish for a year require it to start over in the Senate? I know there is a House version of the bill. Might the competing versions wind up in reconciliation
