It's the first occasion we've had to lay eyes on one of minor Republican U.S. Senate candidate Randy Baumgardner's campaign signs. To be perfectly honest, we're a little surprised that Baumgardner could afford a yard sign, but there it is proving us wrong.
This gives us one more chance to ponder Baumgardner's iconic mustache/cowboy hat silhouette logo, which appears on all of his Senate campaign materials so we assume he's very proud of it. Free association testing with this logo we've been present for has likened it to 1970s porn, a neon sign for a bad steakhouse, and (this one probably gets the most votes) dependable pre-owned cars.
What does Randy's logo make you think? Please keep it PG-13 if possible.

Lead with your strengths–a moustache and big hat in this case. What else does Randy have to offer? I mean besides terrible 'western' font type?
There is no disclaimer.
Right – and that's a violation of election laws. Sure says a lot about how responsible Baumgardner would be as a U.S. Senator – as if that would ever happen in a million, billion years.
Stetson — 'cuz even an empty head looks good in a cowboy hat !!
Stetson — 'cuz every man needs something on his shoulders !!
I like it.
It is different; probably captures some of this fellow's character.
A little creativity once in awhile is refreshing — we will see plenty enough of the red, white and blue, block Helvetica yard signs come the fall campaigns, won't we?
All joking aside, I actually think it's a very effective yard sign (but only to the extent that any yard sign is effective).
Sitting here on a Sunday morningm, trying to behave myself, drinking my last cup of coffee—I saw the Kit.Kat. Lasagna–instantly gained 10 pounds!
I look forward to seeing this sign posted in the window of Pueblo Republican HQ. They've already got one of Baumgardner's old signs up. They had to do a big switcheroo when Gardner and Buck do-si-doed offices.
Right next door to the Tancredo office, which is never, ever open. I'll post pics at some point.
The Tanc office near me is across the street from a very right-wing Jewish elementary school.
There really is NUTHIN' holdin' up that hat!
The image suggests Hulk Hogan in a cowboy hat. "Yeehaw brother!"
Taking back Colorado and America…to the 19th century.
All hatstache, co cattle.
JBJK, you took the thought right outta my head. Really. I was scrolling down to get to the "post" line and there you were.
It means I will vote for him. I mean, what is my other choice? Cory?
You don't like it? Buy me a better sign!
The 'stache that roared.
reminds me of 'Real Men Don't Eat Quiche' (book from 1970s) "Men who are not cowboys should not wear cowboy boots". Good advice, that.
"All hat, no cattle"
That ain't milk dear
Ride the Mustache! All the way to DC!
Not in this life!
I thought the Village People had retired.
'stash implants.
Vote for the 'stache, it has more substance than the rest of him!
So, does this mean that the campaign's theme song will be a remix of the Billy Idol classic? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKmldYSDJaM i.e., "'stache without a face?"
Let them eat…..my mustache crumbs.
Thanks for the LOLs this morning. I think the "empty head" meme really works in responding to this logo – and kudos to JBJK16 for coining the term "hatstache"!
But I also agree that this is an eye-catching outside-the-box sign that will probably work for some people.
