Yeh, I saw the teaser as well- It is astounding but consistent with previous press interviews by Cory G, weasel away from any meaningful answer to facts, resorting to R talking points. He is embarassing to watch.
Further I have yet to hear or see a local TV outlet identify the Jeffco school board actors"s party affilition other mumble "consera" Thx for nothing news bunnies.
Yesterday, pre retirement lunch for 1/3 of Colorado’s congressional (representing Corncob county, & what will be Andy’s new district) members held in Brighton at Pinocchio’s (I’m not making this up, wait, maybe I am LOL) on the menu, the whopper, with a side of little whites. Corporate sponsorship by BOTOX “keeping a straight face when your story isn’t” Afternoon topics: When to stop digging and keeping your fingers crossed. Keynote speaker Bob S. (sweetcorn) who said during mittens run, “I never asked for govt help”. Does that include Army Corp of engineers rebuilding levees along the S. Platte, after the flood of 65? Or the freely avail Land Sat images (circa 1968-69) of farmland?

My problem with personhood isn't so much criminalizing abortion, it's all the other insane impacts that result from giving zygotes status as persons.
Funny how you never see personhood supporters demonstrating outside fertility clinics or hear them condemning couples pursuing in vitro fertilization. They call abortion a holocaust but say nothing about the "holocaust" of all those unused zygote/persons that get summarily trashed. At most, once in blue moon, you might here one of them suggest that it would be nice for the unused zygotes to be adopted but that rarely is mentioned and they don't seem at all exercised about it.
So what's up with the lack of outrage over fertility clinics equal to that over abortion and methods of birth control they deem abortifacient? Besides hypocrisy.
The hospital is on fire. The pediatric ward has only two children in it, and you can escape the inferno with one under each arm. Alternately, on your way out, you could duck in to the fertility lab and tuck a thermos filled with liquid nitrogen and hundreds of frozen embryos under each arm. What would you choose?
The fetophiles are either liars or heartless, possibly both.
And that, in a nutshell is why not even they, in their heart of hearts, truly believe a zygote is a person equal to those post-birth canal babies. They are anti-abortion. Period. Nothing to do with being pro-anything or truly believing a fertilized egg is a full fledged human being on a par with any other human being.
