Herb Leaks Campaign Strategy

  • by: Colorado Pols

Our man Herb Rubenstein, Democratic candidate in CD-7, has leaked his campaign strategy via his website. Part of the plan is called, “Run Herb’s Campaign.”

Frankly, we can’t believe that Herb even knows how to follow this plan. We’d be going left when we were supposed to turn right. We’re definitely not smart enough to keep up with this.

We kid because we love you, baby.

  1. Planning before you want to do something, that must be a novel concept to a Republican.

Unlike anyone on this site I have met herb in person and he is nice guy.  I don’t know if I will vote for herb but the mean spirited comments coming from this site are amazing.

  2. Herb?s plan is quite concise. Herb and his key staff support a coordinated campaign that identifies existing constituencies, new constituencies, current donors and current supporters. These are then ?run through? if you will, the marketing plan. As a result of this, more, and more enthusiastic, supporters, donors and voters will carry the message forward to victory. That in itself isn?t a particularly new concept. It?s what will happen in the box; and what is the tone and quality of the message coming out that matters.

Page two is simply the voters/supporters running the ground efforts, and the donors/supporters ?running? the campaign. This includes increasing the funds to run the machine.

There are broad policy formation and implementation models planned for and clearly expected. Herb is present throughout, and it?s clearly Herb?s plan. Good Luck Herb. I hope what comes out of the box is worthy.

  3. I did a little further research and found that back when you could see people’s e-mail addresses, Peter was posting as Peter Searle.

This is from Herbs Blog: June 20 ? Peter Searle joins Rubenstein for Congress Campaign as Director of Web Intelligence Services

Could Sir Robin be Herb? He sure keeps giving major kudos to Peter.

  4. Hugo, it might even be Peter.  I can’t really distinguish if its a Peter or Sir Robin posting til I see the name underneath, I always know its one of them.  Usually it has little or nothing to do with CO politics, almost always something about Bush and the Iraq war, usually ties in God somwhere along the lines, just my observation.

  5. Seriously, this site is getting filled with more & more trash posts. Why all the personal attacks? I have met Herb & ya he is a bit different, but he is a nice guy. As for Peter & Sir Robin, let them post whatever if it is fairly concise. You don’t have to agree with them, just stop with the personal attacks. That is low-life stuff, you people are better than that.

  6. I actually feel kinda bad for Herb. I have met him a couple of times now and he is one of the nicest people I have seen running for office in a while.

The reason I feel bad for him is he has little chance of even getting on the ballot.

  7. I don’t feel sorry for him.  If every dolt with a super-ego ran for office his anomoly would be seen for what it is; a waste of time for you, for me, and the time it took me to write this post.  I am going to run for president, now is the whole world interested???  Didn’t think so.  Rubenstein for Iraqi Governor!!!
