(Cory Gardner’s first mushroom cloud – Promoted by Colorado Pols)
Outrageous. Destructive. Beneath contempt. Treason?
Those are the words being used to describe a letter sent by 47 Republican U.S. Senators to the government of Iran in an attempt to undermine negotiations over its nuclear program.
Our new senator, Cory Gardner, signed this letter. Tell Cory Gardner right now to remove his name from the GOP’s Iran letter.
We all know Washington is regularly mired in partisan gridlock, but this is different. By interfering with the diplomatic efforts of the United States and our allies to dismantle Iran’s nuclear weapons program, Cory Gardner is risking both American lives and the lives of millions of people in the Middle East–and all to score political points. Is this what we want from the Cory Gardner who claimed to be “a new kind of Republican?”
Send a message to Gardner now: let our President do his job. Stop putting lives at risk. Stop embarrassing our country before the eyes of the entire world. Sign on now–and then ask your friends to do the same. We’ll make sure Cory Gardner gets the message loud and clear.

That effervescent smile is about to run out of bubbles, I’m betting…
A MUSHROOM CLOUD? Seriously?
Maybe if Obama’s appeasement is allowed to continue, but that’s what Gardner is trying to stop. Shame on Progress Now for their blatant fear mongering.
No Moddy… Your party is trying to undermine a multilateral negotiations involving the P5+1, subject to UNSC approval…
Instead, 47 dimbulbs who couldn’t legislate out of a paper bag (and even with a map, a GPS, and a native guide, and a laptop with ‘Net access), broke the Logan Act, and have committed a felony.
You do know what felons don’t get to do? Have security clearance. Own guns. Vote.
Kiss all 47 of them goodbye, as history will be made as we see all 47 tender their resignations before the month is out.
Resign before the month is out? You need a shrink. Not happening.
“Seriously?” is right, tweedle. . .
. . . that’s what your group of learned constitutional and international law scholars are trying to claim to be preventing with their asshattery.
Appeasement? Really? Now the $64,000 question, which none of the 47 senators have answered. On what terms would you sign a treaty? The answer is more complicated than Iran can’t have any nuclear weapons. Can the Iranians have nuclear reactors to generate electricity or do they have to dismantle those too?
Look who crawled out from under his rock. While you’re out here, Modster, maybe you’d like to outline the Republican plan for dealing with Iran. Oh wait. I forgot. You just drop your little load of stinky crap and disappear.
He will expound on the GOP plan for dealing with Iran right after he spells out what they will replace Obamacare with.
Apparently it isn’t only mean liberals who are ripping the now notorious 47. Newspaper editorials, mainly directing their astonishment at their own Senators, often Senators the papers endorsed are coming fast and furious.
A sampling:Concord Monitor, Pittsburgh Post Gazette,The Sacramento Bee, Baltimore Sun,Boston Globe, Kansas City Star, Salt Lake City Tribune
oops. Still getting the hang of the improvements. Here’s a link to article quoted above which, in turn, has links to these newspapers.

Something is wrong with that photo: Shouldn’t he have a red neck?
