Who's Dropping Out Next?

  • by: Colorado Pols

The Republican field for President in 2016 is (very) slowly shrinking, and we may see more movement in the next couple of weeks in the lead-up to the October 28 GOP debate at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

In the meantime, what say you, Polsters? Who will be the next Republican to abandon hopes of becoming President in 2016? Cast your vote after the jump…

Who Will be the Next GOP Presidential Candidate to Drop Out of the Race?

    1. You could make an argument for half of the names on the list. There are times where it seems like someone like Jindal is just going to keep running until the lights are literally turned off.

    2. How late has Huck waited to drop out in the last several election cycles?  That aside, he probably will drop out because Trump has trumped his very reason to run, loud noises.

  1. Rand Paul – how long can he keep running with terrible poll numbers, lackluster debate performances, and low fundraising?

Plus Kentucky law forbids him from being on the ballot twice. He got around this by buying a caucus in Kentucky. I shit thee not. If the precarious Republican Senate majority is to stay in place, Rand Paul has to concentrate on his Senate run.

    National Review says

Rand Paul’s campaign [reeks] of the same stench of death that surrounded the Perry and Walker efforts before their demise.

  2. Huckster loves the publicity and platform; any publicity, any platform.

Rand is an ideologue, and a true believer.

Pataki!  Did anyone realize he was ever in it?  Know anyone, any one, who care's that he's still in it?  Plus, he's actually got a real job and responsibilities that need tending to.
