SUNDAY UPDATE: Denver Post reporting that John Kasich will NOT attend the Colorado GOP state assembly.

7NEWS’ Marshall Zelinger reporting, it’s not Greeley you smell:
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is expected in Colorado next week.
Denver7 political reporter Marshal Zelinger said law enforcement sources have told him they’re preparing for multiple stops by Trump, in Colorado, April 7 to 9.
However, the Trump campaign has not released any details yet…
It was already known that Donald Trump would be in Colorado for the Republican Party state convention in Colorado Springs April 9th. Ted Cruz and John Kasich are also reportedly headed to Colorado for the state convention, presumably with public events of their own.
But anyone who’s been following the unprecedented spectacle of Trump’s campaign knows what the main event will be.
With Trump facing by far the biggest crisis of the campaign after exceedingly ill-advised remarks about “punishing” women for having abortions, the already fever-pitch drama that comes with every Trump for President rally will if anything be cranked up even higher when he arrives in Colorado next week. Without compromising anybody’s operational security, we can tell you that protest actions around the GOP state convention and any/all Trump public events in particular are already in the planning stages.
If you decide to join in any such fun times–or just want to see the show–we recommend good health insurance.

Can't wait. What will Mr. Orange have for the R convention. Could be really fun. What might Lamborn do? How about Chaps? Remember the gun dude from CSP on his bed in his underwear with his tool(s)?
There will be prayers. Maybe snakes to kiss.
I'm just bring my popcorn
As the majority of Colorado Republicans rumble down the Ronald Reagan Highway from the north next Saturday, passing the Colorado Springs Utilities altar to #DinosaurDung (the Martin Drake coal plant) where they can sing praise to #RepublicanJesus from the coal-fire-powered World Arena, they'll have entered a not-so-Shining City on the Hill where nearly 1 in 7 Colorado Springs residents live in poverty (a 50% increase over 2000 figures).
A City powered by coal, massive government transfers from Washington, DC, the #ProsperityGospel and angry, white men. The only thing missing will be their poster child, Douglas Bruce.
