CD-7 Poll

  • by: Colorado Pols

We haven’t polled on CD-7 in awhile, and with our post today on the inside battle over EMILYs List, we thought now was as good a time as any. Vote away…

  1. The poll is flawed beyond redemption.

I expect to be the Colorado Green Party’s nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 7th CD and on the ballot.

Furthermore, I expect progressives and centerists to vote for real change … Republicans and Republican-lite candidates are going to have a tougher time than they may now presently anticipate.

  2. Lot of momentum for Herb Rubinstein.
To out poll the much better known Pachall puts him into the race. Maybe Herb and Dave Chandler the Green can merge their campaigns — vote for Greenstein has a certain ring

  3. Lot of momentum for Herb Rubinstein.

  4. For the CD-07 election, I wanted to state that my vote is going to Peggy Lamm.  It looks like a lot of these prior posts are not paying attention to the issues that count, and instead are simply attacking her without fully explaining what her side of issues are.  If you want responsible government, you should start with a vote for Peggy Lamm.

    – John McCluer

  5. shouldn’t either poll results or the alphabet be used to list the candidates?  I’m sure Ed wouldn’t mind, you could still probably get a job from him.

  6. Lets be honest here …

This data is not accurate.  I would take the bet at 100 to 1 odds, that someone is artifically raising these numbers with duplicated votes.

Where is my copy of my vote?  This electronic voting is pretty damn scary!  With the recent Presidential vote in Ohio and Florida, whereby electronic voting from Debold was shown to be very inaccurate and an obviously swayed (reversed) decision with computer programming, with a claim that once again we put a President in office from power-hungry Republicans (taking away our right of Liberty and an accurate system that represents the true voice of the people), I suggest, that “ColoradoPols” create a paper trail, with the names of those who “voted” for this CD-7 poll.

Actually, if you want an accurate poll, provide us an address, with the sponsorship of the Denver Post or KMGH TV, where you can send in your vote, casting a true representation of the opinions of the public for a primary.

I don’t believe ANY of these numbers.  AND, not until we have a paper trail in all of these elections … this is all bunk and makes our voting system suspect.

The voice of AMERICA can be robbed so damn easy …

It is our duty to change this reality, unless we want to lose our liberty again and again…

  7. My prediction:
Ed will win this poll by 100 votes, but then David Chandler will sue.
A recount will put ROD up by 6 votes when it is found that a crew of Peggy Lamm supports, “who know a little bit about computers”, actually voted for her and Ed at the same time. Alva will be forced to admit ROD the winner. This will be followed by Peter having a written meltdown for us all to read about.
Oh yeah, Pascall will grow his beard out and become Beauprez’s county chair for Jefferson County.
Then everyone will realise this is just a poll on a blog.

  8. Does anyone else find it the least bit entertaining the Herb “Robot Traffic Cop” Rubenstein is beating Paschall?  I would think that under Peter’s conspiracy scenario, Herb’s robot warriors would have found a way to make sure that he got 100% of the vote.

  9. I don’t think that they are trying to curry favor
take the letter of each name and the order it appears:
P-O-L-P-R- Polpr — clearly a message of some sort.
But, Big Herb turns the momentum and makes it into a three way race. Paschall probably suffers from the Frenchness of his name and will take the results of the poll as a message to stay out

  10. take that! –

Remember, Freedom of Speech and your right to say it, “Peter smells like boiled cabbage” as you put it.  Call me what you wish … However, I have not made the numerous negative comments in these campaigns.  I have made very few negative comments about any of the other candidates …unlike, many of others that have.  I take the approach of expressing my opinions (Freedom of Speech) after they are reflective of that candidate.

With an International viewpoint, I have my rights of Freedom of Speech as well … but, I don’t generally make it my aim to “name call” other candidates before they are elected.

I think you should take the premise of a discussion of the issues … and, have accurate polls.  Frankly, odds making on candidates is not a good idea …

    MY OPINION.

  11. take that! –

You are right about a right to say it … even President Bush said “We the people” are protected under the 1st Amendment to make comments about an elected offical … the question is, at what limit can we make comments against someone who is not elected yet?

IF a poll suggests inaccurate numbers, like 100 to 1 odds or for others, by what measure is that fair and equal to a candidate that is unknown by the public?

    Or, is that simply “politics?”

  12. If only Robots could vote!!! Can we get the ACLU into the 7th on behalf of Herb R. there is clear voting right violations here that make the Florida Chad debalce look legit.
Robot are almost people too and they at a minumum should be afforded a 2/3 vote. Mark my words one day they will rise up and the only human left standing will be Herb. I encourage everyone to see war of the worlds it’s a true story.

  13. I agree with you the way you view the issue. I remember Jack London once said everything positive has a negative side; everything negative has positive side. It is also interesting to see different viewpoints & learn useful things in the discussion.
