We’re continuing to pass along the latest turnout numbers from the Colorado Secretary of State’s office for the June 28th Primary, though things haven’t changed much since Tuesday morning (numbers are accurate as of 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday):
Democrats
Ballots sent: 989,879;
Ballots returned: 154,941;
Percent: 15.65%Republicans
Ballots sent: 997,073;
Ballots returned: 163,550;
Percent: 16.40%
How does this compare to 2014? In the June 24, 2014 U.S. Senate Primary, there were 213,746 Democratic ballots cast, compared to 338,324 for Republicans.

All those folks Feeling the Bern, but can't be bothered to return a ballot?
there are no contested races on my ballot…I am participating in this election, primarily, to record an undervote for Senator Bennet.
You and me both, Duke! I wonder if his staff pays any attention to undervotes….
With a turnout as poor as this? So long as someone votes for him he's probably unconcerned.
I am sure you are right PR…it just makes me feel better. I have to vote for Thurston in November. This is my chance to try to make a point…as pointless as that effort may be…
Assuming bennet gets the most votes, which as the only statewide candidate, he should, how would we even calculate an "undervote?"
I voted in the CD3 race to make sure Gail gets some encouraging numbers…they can compare.
