So, uh, Donald Trump AND Mike Pence will visit Colorado Springs within one week. Seems like a good use of time.

    1. Mr. Trump is campaigning in states, like Colorado, where his chances are slim because the road to 270 electoral votes remains a long one for him. Therefore, he has to identify states where the margin is better than states like New York, where he has no chance of winning, and see if he can make a run in those states.

He and Gov. Pence are campaigning in Colorado Springs for two reasons. First, Mr. Trump still needs to solidify the Republican base in Colorado because of the lackluster support from Colorado Republicans and second, negative bitter campaigns like this one usually drive down turnout which means he must maximize the Republican turnout.

In March, according to Congressman Coffman's own internal polling, over 70% of the voters in the 6th CD had a negative opinion of Mr. Trump. The Denver metropolitan region is a lost cause for Mr. Trump. His only hope, slim as it is in Colorado, is to increase turnout in El Paso county to the maximum.

  1. So funny that the bloated, short-fingered, orange vulgarian warthog and his fraud 'n' fear scampaign still think they have a shot here!

    How terribly precious.

  2. Trump is booking increasingly smaller venues here in the Springs. Just a disorganized campaign–or does he know it is getting harder to fill a room to make it look good on TV?

And Coffman doesn't seem to want him anywhere near CD 6, so guess he has to come to the Springs.

  3. Bush was here late in '04. His whole family was here at one time or another that year, including the Alchy Twins at a local bar, no less. They know the cRazies are a dedicated lot here…..and can turn the state if the D's are too sure of themselves.

    Don't be lazy, D's!!!!!!!!!

        1. I remember you telling me to just wait until September to see some big push including ads from the Carroll campaign. I'm still waiting. Yeah you can find stuff if you're tuned in. But where's the big public push? The one where ordinary voters are forced to notice her existence? So far September hasn't shown me significantly mo more than previously. I'd be believer if Team Carroll would give me any reason to be. I want to be. WTF am I missing on the public awareness front?

  4. Hilarious, Pence coming to Colorado Springs is akin to Hillary wasting time in Los Angeles. This conservaderp town will vote for anyone with an R next to their name, guaranteed. But hey, by all means, waste your time here instead of an actual swing state.
