Choose wisely…
(Tentatively) Sunday April 19th. Time to be determined. Southern Sun in Boulder, or the Falling Rock in Denver?
If Southern Sun wins, keep in mind they don’t take credit cards (though they have an ATM).
David Thi808 has promised free rides in his sweet-ass BMW from the Table Mesa Park n’ Ride for you public transport fans. In the spirit of fairness, I promise a free ride from Union Station/16th St. Mall in my crappy ’98 Ford Escort if it ends up being at the Falling Rock.

there are too many things I have to do that weekend in preparation for the 20th. Is everyone married to the 19th, or could we do it a week earlier?
The date was purely my doing, so if that’s no good, then by all means shout it out.
They’re on the road 4/19 but back in town the following weekend. I’m not inclined to go anywhere in LoDo during a Rockies game.
Maybe 4/12?
Since it’s just me and there doesn’t seem to be another date, go with 4/19.
All’a y’all go have a burger and fries in honor of Terry Nichols. I guess that means Boulder loses….
I’d forgotten that was the reason I chose the 19th, rather than the 12th, since it’s the end of opening weekend festivities.
I’ll be there for opening day though, bright and early to wait in line for rockpile tickets just like I do every year.
or the Republicans win.
Never treading in that disaster of a town, Boulder, is a victory for any Republican.
even if it is insufferably strident.
But Denver is kicking its ass right now.
I emailed you about Friday. Are we still on?
I emailed you back with a better email.
on your Big Picture thread. Read it at your convenience and let me know. I was just getting ready for bed when I found your thread from March 24th tonight after midnight. I am running on fumes so it’s probably poorly written and I know I left alot of stuff out that deserves atleast a sentence or two, but, give it a look anyway.
but i can’t do the 19th if it’s in Denver
To demand a recount. Because a fair vote would have Boulder as the winner.
You lost fair and square. So what if the military absentee ballots haven’t been counted yet? They’re not your votes anyway. If you want to drag this out for years, then fine, it’s on.
…you mess with the whole trailer park!!!
Make sure you file the lawsuit seeking to overturn the election results before the polls actually close, Tedisco-style.
Personally I think Denver stole this election with their liberal and tax-problem-having ways. Plus George Soros was involved somehow.
I have it on good authority that some of the Boulder votes were cast by people who have filed amended tax returns at least once in their lives. This outrage cannot stand. Next thing you know, gub’ment bureaucrats will be telling me whether I can get an MRI. We draw the line here, fellow patriots.
but it’s a start.
I’ll re-promote the poll tomorrow, but it’s looking good for Denver.
he filed a lawsuit to overturn the election before the polls even closed? so when the R’s were hoping this special election would be an anti-Obama bellwether, this is what they were thinking? unbelievable.
to get into court if you believe an election will be close and want to have some oversight in place for the recount and absentee count. But it is hilarious!
damn it – can’t make this one either. My wife’s father passed away this weekend(thyroid cancer, nothing that anyone could’ve done), and we fly to Holland on Tuesday.
Best case scenario would’ve had us back on the 19th – which is not going to happen.
Please – tip a pint to my father-in-law Jochem – a tight-assed arrogant Dutchmen who (supposedly) knew more about American Politics than Steve Harvey. He was a teacher, and thanks to Socialized Medicine, his wife is not filing for bankruptcy.
Shoot me an email and I’d love to take you out for a beer when you get back. Travel safely.
