i personally think that they need to be careful what they scream about. i really don’t care about this as an example of wasting money. you’re not going to get my attention until you have examples of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

So what’s Caldera’s point? That the Colorado Council for the Arts has poor taste? The Legislature didn’t order that project up…
Let’s face it, when the II goes after a decision not even made by the Lege that costs a grand sum total of $5k, they’re desperate.
Well, is it any real surprise? The Arts Council is just one of many tax payer supported rip-offs in this state. Just ask one of the founders of this site-Rick O’Donnell of the “Commission on Higher Education”. He sends several million dollars out of state to a group calling itself “The Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad” so they can support their hobby. And yet the state owned tourist railroad is in very bad shape–both the physical plant and financially.
Bob – O’Donnell isn’t a founder of this site and the Commission on Higher Education doesn’t give money to the railroad. Have some more coffee.
