A Magnificent Colorado Weekend usually involves 6 inches of fresh powder on a 100 inch base, blue skies, and 35 degrees!
being outside is better than being inside in a cubicle any day.
I’ve been hiking in Golden Gate State Park outside of Golden and it is that perfect combination of close to Denver but cooler by ten degrees. It is a great place for short 2-3 hour hikes.
It ain’t the weather that makes this place great. If you love this- there are places where this is sort of permanent.
But it’s not around here anywhere.
Though I did dig on today.
out my window. Stuck inside working all day 🙁
In a suit. Drove by the Bandimere sign where it said 87 degrees and thought “Oh Shit”.
Perfect weather.
Lots of greenery.
Low taxes.
My backpack was sticking to my back. In a way that backpacks ideally shouldn’t.
Baseball tournament all day yesterday, Mile Hi Music Festival today.
Great Colorado weather for the whole thing.
It was 101 in GJ.
Too hot for anything but gin and tonic.
But I’m out of gin.
Shoot, I guess I can buy it on Sunday now!
I’ma head to the hills and get me some wildflower photos.
