The "soda jerk" is my concept of Moderatus, toasting the "harsh tonic" of Trumpism with Anne Coulter. I had fun drawing this, and am glad y'all liked it. It was a great mental image – I had to try to put it on paper.
My dad had some Pat Oliphant cartoons, and I actually got to meet the great cartoonist at his drawing table in the Post pressroom. Being an editorial cartoonist was an early ambition of mine, along with being the first Miss America to win the talent competition with a jet-pack aerial routine.

Don't the high school students in your area need an aspirational engineering challenge?
That's what Robotics Club is for. It's a really popular club around here.
While high school students might pay out their Hot Cheetos money to see me doing a jet pack routine, they would also all be taking video so that, when I inevitably flamed out and crashed, it would go viral on YouTube.
I guess we've come a way since my "nerdy girl" days.

Our Bold and Brave Democrat, Senator-for-Life Michael Bennet, has made his tough choice about our economy and wants to give $80 Billion more dollars to the Pentagon and the most Irresponsible, War-mongering president in History.
This is the same Michael Bennet that claims he wants to make the tough fiscal decisions as a senator:
He's had that lying text on his official senate site since Day 1. Maybe next time on the tough decision. It will have to wait while the coward stiffens his back bone by voting with Republicans on most every key issue.

It would be electoral malpractice for a white candidate not to select from among the many people of color who share compatible political views for their vice presidential running mate.

More Republicans Now Support Free College Than Oppose It, Poll Finds
I wouldn't call 50% of Tea Partiers supporting free college "strong" but I would call it "amazing" or "extraordinary."
Most of the Tea Partiers I know are against; hell some of them saw high school as a big waste and should not funded with their tax dollars.
That's the good news. Now for the bad news . . .
. . . unfortunately, it seems, 97% want to attend Liberty University or CCU and earn their degrees in creation science, science denial, or Laffer economics.
And then on to graduate school at the newly-relaunched Trump University.
Yep … seen as a pipe dream. Until you realize that when I went to University, I could have done a tuition free community college and a nearly-tuition free University degree in the "poor" state of New Mexico. Other states had similar, or even more generous, options available to those who were academically qualified.
That "Making (Rural) America Great Again may take longer than we thought…
