Weinstein scandal tearing Democrat Party apart

  • by: Moderatus

Fox News reports, no surprise Colorado Pols isn’t talking about this:

White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway slammed Hillary Clinton on Wednesday for her delay in speaking out against Hollywood mogul and longtime Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein amid allegations that he raped and sexually harassed multiple women.

“She needs to not be a hypocrite about women’s empowerment and what it means to be pro-woman,” Conway told Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.” “She is on a book tour talking about herself and a campaign she lost—not talking about women’s empowerment, she’s not trying to help victims of sexual assault.”

Five days after the story broke about Weinstein, Clinton released a statement Tuesday saying she was “shocked and appalled by the revelations” and “the behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated.”

Conway took to Twitter late Tuesday, blasting the former secretary of state for taking “5 days to sorta-kinda blame” Weinstein.

After the news broke of major Democrat donor Harvey Weinstein’s years of sexual harassment and assault, Weinstein claimed he was going to “channel his anger” into attack the NRA. Then the allegations got worse and he was eventually fired from the company that bears his name.

It’s not the first time that Democrats have been complete hypocrites about sexual predators in their midst, but you would expect Hillary Clinton of all people to call Weinstein out. Instead it took days for Clinton to say anything, and liberal Hollywood stars are only now distancing themselves from Weinstein.

Where will it end? How many more liberal misogynists and rapists are hiding in plain sight?

  1. Nutlid, you just prove that you don't care about the fact that what Weinstein did was reprehensible.  If you did, you would denounce Trump, Roger Ailes, and BillO.

  2. “ . . .Tearing Democrat[ic] Party Apart”

    No, FluffyNutlid.

I have yet to hear a single statement from any Democrat in support of Weinstein’s harassment, in fact quite the opposite . . .

Where will it end?  How many more liberal mysogynists and rapists are hiding in plan sight?

    I dunno’, . . .

. . . perhaps we could begin by searching among the pussy-grabbers in the Oval Office that you, Conway, and FOX are protecting?!?

I moved on her actually. You know she was down on Palm Beach. I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and fuck her. She was married.

And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’ I took her out furniture– I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.

Yeah, that’s her, with the gold. I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. I just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.

Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.

    Oh, it looks good.

    Oh, nice legs, huh?

Okay, absolutely. Melania said this was okay.

    1. The connection between Kellyanne Conway criticizing Hillary Clinton seems to me to be a long way from any indication of "tearing Democrat Party apart."

Personally, I'd bet the Democratic parties in both New York and California (states most closely identified with Weinstein) will continue to beat the Republicans at virtually every level.

  3. Actually, it appears Moldy's new-found voice is probably due to projecting his own party's woes and "problematic" future:

Conservatives Call On Mitch McConnell, Other GOP Leaders To Step Down

“You were not going to ‘drain the swamp.’ You are the swamp.”

“We’re going to cut off the oxygen to Mitch McConnell,” Bannon said earlier this week during an interview on Fox News, adding that he was also looking into convincing donors to stop contributing to GOP leadership committees.

  4. If Kellyanne Conway is counting days until Hillary Clinton gets around to criticizing Weinstein, perhaps we should have a similar count for unsuccessful Republican candidates who are not criticizing Ailes; or Bill O'Reilly; or Bill Cosby; ….
