I’ve been invited to the “GOP blogger round-table,” headed up by Senators Penry & Brophy. The purpose I think is to let us know what they plan to do this legislative session.
There is a Q&A session so – any suggested questions? It’s this Thursday evening.
Update: pushed off till Monday evening – there’s so football game that preempts this.

Do they have any specific proposals in the works for raising revenue to help the State overcome our budget deficit?
And you should really push them on it.
Do you think that the state is facing a budget crisis?
And if so, what is your plan to fix it? What specifically? If they say, “Cut education,” for example, what do they mean by that? Cut textbooks? Teachers? Construction?
If so, which legislator will be pictured in their underwear in his mind?
Why bother inviting liberal bloggers to your round table?
They just want punch and pie and to possibly record a mis-step.
Tell ’em (especially Thielen) to stay at the poetry slam.
If we’re going to work together rather than just sling arrows at each other, we need to talk.
And from the poetry slam – a Valentine’s Day poem to Laughing Boy:
…calling Obama a fascist?
…calling him a socialist?
…stalling legislation any way you can?
…asking the full range of census questions?
…depicting Obama as Hitler?
…insisting over and over again on the same birth certificate that you have already rejected?
…the tea bagger mentality?
What do they think of Ref C now?
Ref C expires next year, but the budget is still a mess. What do they propose to manage the budget?
Are they going to try and repeal faster?
Where is the R caucus going to be on the ballot issues, esp Amendments 60 & 61 and prop101?
