So I write this diary on September 9:

And then Lynn Bartels has a very similar story about the same issue on September 13th in the Nameless Newspaper:

Gee, thanks Lynn.

        1. while you insult my mom? Really, Ralphie, you’ve gone so far off the deep end in terms of human decency that I’m not surprised you’re quite comfortable believing you evolved from a monkey.

  1. I was just saying this morning that I didn’t expect a story about minor party status for a month or so.  To be fair, Bartels turned the story around to be about the Republicans and did make some calls and get some quotes.  Your diary was about the ACP, which I think was actually the more significant point.  If the ACP can nominate candidates for any office this could be a really big deal.

  2. …at a minimum, you beat a paid, full-time political reporter on a story her newspaper considered worthy enough to publish.

We should celebrate that as a sign of healthy news competition and yet another indication that on individual stories some of the bloggers on Pols frequently are covering politics and public policy as well as if not better than the dozen+ political reporters at the Post.
