As the Grand Junction Sentinel reports:
Former state Sen. Ron Teck, R-Grand Junction, and local businesswoman Laura Bradford confirmed they are considering a 2008 run against two-term incumbent Rep. Bernie Buescher, D-Grand Junction.
Teck, 59, who resigned from his seat in December, said he is being courted to run against Buescher.
“I have some people telling me to do it,” Teck said…
Teck, who served nearly two full terms in the Senate, resigned from his seat to evade the effects of Amendment 41, which would have barred him from becoming a lobbyist for two years following his term.
Teck said he had hoped to find employment in the private sector following his resignation from the Senate, but added that his time as a lawmaker was as exciting and engaging a time as he ever has had.

I personally am hoping that Bob Caskey gets back in. He got a raw deal and he will make mincemeat of Ron Teck.
Cool………any chance they’ll make it a four-way with Janet Rowland giving it a go?
Very funny. Your sarcasm is not lost on me OQD. Caskey is the only clear choice here in HD 55. Busher would be hard to beat otherwise. Rowland, Teck, or the other lady can’t accomplish this task. Only BC. He knows how to handle him this time.
I fail to see what Caskey could do differently this time that he did not do last time? He was unable to come even close in terms of fundraising (lost by 6-1 ratio if I recall correctly), and even with tons of 527 money being poured into the district, Caskey still lost by nearly 10%. I like Bob, and he seems like a good guy. I just don’t see how he can take on an even more established and well-funded Buescher this election and prevail.
this right: “Teck said he had hoped to find employment in the private sector following his resignation from the Senate, but added that his time as a lawmaker was as exciting and engaging a time as he ever has had.”
Teck can’t find work so he’s going to run for State Rep.?
Great campaing slogan: Teck for State Representative: No one else wants him.
“Vote for me, I need the job!”
Ron Teck is one of the few who could give Bernie a run for his money in that District.
it looks like your Bob Caskey aint gonna get a rematch.
