      1. Thanks for fixing it–I still haven't quite figured out how to do it.

I just thought the opening line "I believe in miracles" was fitting given, Todd Akin's unusual (to be charitable) stance.

  1. This one's dedicated to those who suckle at the teat of the oil and gas industry, particularly Josh Penry.  Penry's column in today's Senile repeats the deliberately untrue meme that Jared Polis wants to ban all energy development in Colorado.  He's likely won over anybody too stupid or gullible to read the text of this fall's ballot initiatives, which is pretty much his base.

      1. Do I really care if it pisses off Suthers? No, not really. If he thinks I should have said "doesn't" instead of "don't," that's his problem.

    1. Your problem is you're just pasting the link.  You have to get the "embed" code.

In YouTube, click "Share" then "Embed." Copy the embed code to the clipboard.

Then in Pols, in your reply, click "Source" and paste the embed code.

  2. Is it possible to find ONE freaking radio station in this state that isn't waterboarding us after every song some with commercials by Kelly Brough & Friends about how the only way our economy will prevent collapse is to embrace fracking?  I don't know how much those boys are spending hourly in the Colorado market, but it has to be an enormous amount.  I had hoped to find refuge on KOOL 105 this morning as I came up Boulder Canyon to Nederland for a meeting – but alas, no frack-free zone there either.  But in a moment of irony, Kelly was followed by the song "Free Ride".  It couldn't have been a more univiersally poetic response to CRED's talking points.
