Check out this chart from “The Fix” regarding Republican Presidential candidate Scott Walker’s chances in Iowa. We’d add a few words if they were necessary.

        1. Walker is still working the Koch angle (weekly phone calls), so they might toss him a lifeline as a Plan B in case of a sudden Trump implosion and a sputtering out of JEB!'s campaign.

But the Teahadist base is definitely in a cranky mood, so even the Billionaires' money may not help stave off a choice of Worse or Worst as the GOP nominee.

            1. Never try to understand the mentality of these billionaires. Remember how Sheldon Adelson kept pumping $$$ into the Newt Gingrich super PAC 4 years ago even as he demonstrated he was only able to win two states (one of which was his own)?  And how that wacko from Wyoming kept throwing $$$ into propping up Sanctum Santorum?

        2. True but all things are relevant. Isn't Jeb polling at 6% which means he's either pulling twice the support that Walker has or he's only 3 points ahead of Walker.

          1. Trump, Carson and Carly have sucked all the oxygen from the room and the other candidates are definitely asphyxiating.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush stands in third place with 9%, down 4 points since August, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz holds fourth place with 7%. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker follow at 5%, with all other candidates at 3% or less, including Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who notched the only other statistically significant shift in the poll by falling 5 points since August.

But the MOE is 4.5% so these numbers are really almost meaningless.

    1. At this point polls on the Republican side mean nothing. It is early september 2015. We have 15 people in the race. If a campaign runs short on money they get a supeerpac. to donate money. Right now it is money that keeps you in. When delegates are awarded and conventions held that is what matters. Remember Obama lost lowa and Hilary won. Obama is in the white house!
