Well, Burlington could always follow Fort Lyons' precedent – use the building as a rehabilitation center for homeless veterans. Thank Pueblo Senator Angela Giron for her leadership on that program.
Naturally, Scott Renfroe of Greeley is against it. "Out of sight, out of mind" is his motto when dealing with the homeless population.
