Just up at KKTV, how interesting:
Former President George W. Bush has canceled a speaking engagement in Denver after learning that Julian Assange would also be speaking.
Statement from David Sherzer, spokesman for George W. Bush:
“Six months ago, President Bush accepted an invitation to speak to the YPO Global Leadership Summit in Denver on February 26, 2011. This week, upon learning that Julian Assange had recently been invited to address the same summit, President Bush decided to cancel his appearance. The former president has no desire to share a forum with a man who has willfully and repeatedly done great harm to the interests of the United States.”
We assume that Julian Assange of Wikileaks would have been speaking via satellite, as he’s got several very good reasons to not be able to physically enter the United States right now.
And once again, did you know George W. Bush was coming to town?

Bush still dosen’t get the whole “irony” thing:
” a man who has willfully and repeatedly done great harm to the interests of the United States.”
That’s so bad it’s almost an Onion piece.
the holding-hands-with-Saudi-prince photo below coupled with the young Saudi not-a-prince plotting to bomb Dubya’s house in Dallas is beyond what you can invent.
is one of the funniest things SNL has had in many years.
I just watched that. Wicked and funny as hell !
darn hard work, . . . not letting others tarnish your image.
holding hands with Saudi princes. And yeah, I read he was coming in the paper but it got little notice.
guess what, Dubya holding hands with a Saudi Prince. Was scrolling too fast.

Did we already cash the check? OK, great. Find me a way out. I don’t care, blizzard, hurricane, protest, hangnail, just make something up!
. . . my Arabian-horse-show-doctor-association-breeder-thingy guy.
Poor Crawford. Lost its village idiot to Dallas.
“The former president has no desire to share a forum with a man who has willfully and repeatedly done great harm to the interests of the United States.”
The statement then concluded, “That’s the former President’s job, and he’ll be damned if he’s going to be shown up by some foreigner.”
He ain’t sharing. He wants all the credit.

The Rs should probably be grateful they lost the WH in 2008. It’s really hard for any President to look good digging out from under the mess that moron left.
Assange could pay tribute to W by reading some of the highlights of his term, like the advance team directions for the Mission Accomplished gig.
n/t
is foreign travel problems due to legal complications from past actions….
The comedic butt that that never goes away. Too bad he left so much destruction in his path. It’d be funny.
